reticentalienmusicfan Brilliant record that puts me in the perfect headspace; every repeat listen reveals new subtle layers and amplifies my admiration. There is no other record of 2021 that I got as addicted to as this one. Well worth the wait! Favorite track: Are They Signs?.

robtrotman Like all the best music, this album takes me to another place and evokes many references but doesn’t feel tied to any era. Beautiful

stevie100 Just ordered the vinyl. Beautiful music somewhere in the middle between minimal music and pop, love it. 😍 Favorite track: How To Paint Clouds.

Outside the lines I’ve drawn to shadow where I got lost in the plot, or if I’m reeling. Touchdown can feel like an arrival like a movie that’s faded out. But, I still wonder what’s behind (this) Life is how you frame it You just sigh (But) you just have to fail to break it Culture is a gift that keeps on taking. If you’re not feeling low, You’ll never get back up to find Life is how you frame it. You just sigh, you just have to fail to break it. You just slide, and you walk it off to be there somewhere else. You just slide You just slide

Calling out for the insight of why (it was) meant to be--- calling an empirical style_ de-dolomitization can be recreated Calling an empirical sound Calling an empirical sound Looks like ancients had concepts created manifested to be apropos. But time had erased them. Garishly faded. There was a spark, then a flame, (and) now it’s gone Calling out for the insight of why (it was) meant to be Calling an empirical style A new set of what and why it was meant to be Content relation ersatz fabrications opposite of what you did years ago obstinate impatience constant repainting Maybe some things should be left in the past At revisionists helm, they will take it to be altered. They will dissect and adjust purpose until it is gone.

Interface 03:18
I don’t believe we’re there, but I would take you anyways Despite what the meters say, I would listen to my eyes The screen was still two sided I would spend my summer and it all amounts to; I was seventeen and in my own mind. Unforsaken hours bending at the spine Lost beyond the shore, turning myself inside out The symptoms of the cure when singularity's not there I lay down barely distinguishing what’s mine I would sublimate my life I would let you on my other side. My other side. Other side My other side My other side My two sides

In the heat of the night, something is on my mind. A lot isn't right, In fact, it's a crime. I'm not telling you, (because) you know why we're having a hard time shining a light. Looking for a reaction? I know I've got mine. How is there no connection between guns and lost lives There is no magic solution to survive We need immediate action to dismantle sides This hegemonic oppression, It doesn't matter why. (We need) to acknowledge dominion, because colour is not a crime I don't want to mention how many more times? Looking for a reaction? I know I've got mine. How is there no connection between guns and lost lives. There is no magic solution to survive. We need immediate action to dismantle sides.

Still Life 05:47
In this indelible life I’ve seen as much I thought I would Not all tasks I tried to do in spare There is a focus that loosens with wear In intelligible air I can see the picture without the frame I know we all have a cross to bear But I’ve been carrying this feeling around with me for a while That I don’t care. A while. Cared for a while In intelligible air I can see the picture without the frame I know we all have a cross to bear But I’ve been carrying this feeling around with me for a while that I don’t care, A while now that I can’t figure it out.

One day when I was sweeping, It seemed like there was more dust on the broom than on the floor. I’ll buy the line All I desire Animal style I’ll take what’s mine I have no reason to stand tall Or to have a will at all I’ve got enough/I haven’t got enough. Alternate times I’ll take charge The marble tile It’s my one weakness I have my reasons to stand tall but I still take the fall I’ve got enough/I haven’t got enough. Are they signs? Are they words of fiction or my state of mind? I’ll defy the short term fashions we left behind. Are they signs? Are they what we’ve heard so long that they seem right? I’ll define all the ugly fictions that live to undermine I’ve got enough/I haven’t got enough.

You don’t have your sights on the satellites You gave all your rights up to satellites You can’t say that you don’t use them every day You can’t say that you don’t need them every night How many do you know by name cause you tell them everything While you sleep through the night they give secrets away. How many do you know by name Cause you’re talking to the sky All of your idle opinions will become debris You can’t say that you don’t use them every day You can’t say you won’t be lost if they went away Can you see the lights / Have you seen the lights On the satellites You can’t say that you don’t use them every day You can’t say that you don’t need them every night

Morning Sun 05:43
Every time I wander, step outside life, surrender. All over now. It's crazy how every day is steeped in now Every line I remember, the train bends it takes me overground and makes a sound. It wakes me up and takes me out Every time I travel over the bridge misunderstandings Overnight gives way to light and I close my eyes. Even if I could remember press until it breaks, still take a loss Too much to make amends with all desires I’ve indulged in Every time I ever wondered, it has been rain and thunder I can’t pretend that I don’t need to tend. I really can’t imagine that I’d wanted to beat them, I don’t know, I believe in self. Everyone has their morning sun. Opened my eyes to find nothing’s changed at all.
