Every time I wander,
step outside life,
surrender.
All over now. It's crazy how every day is steeped in now
Every line I remember,
the train bends it takes me
overground
and makes a sound. It wakes me up and takes me out
Every time I travel
over the bridge
misunderstandings
Overnight gives way to light and I close my eyes.
Even if I could remember
press until it breaks,
still take a loss
Too much to make amends with all desires I’ve indulged in
Every time I ever wondered,
it has been rain and thunder
I can’t pretend that I don’t need to tend.
I really can’t imagine
that I’d wanted to beat them,
I don’t know, I believe in self.
Everyone has their morning sun.
heard of Wild Nothing as I am a big fan of Jorge Elbrecht's works. Took several listens for this album to grow on me but it's great and very cohesive! Jorge Elbrecht's production is essential to the sound!!! pj1517
Me and my friend used to go on drives all the time, and a lot of the time i asked what he was playing, and a majority of the songs were from Yo La Tengo. And since i went and listened to And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside-Out i was fan. Never thought i’d buy one of their records for myself. violetstain
Jorge Elbrecht’s signature genre-blasting, with melodies and harmonies that are, as always, unexpected, lovely and lush. 60’s psych pop bleeding into 80’s jangle and UK indie... the same alchemy found in the best of Lansing-Dreiden and Violens. iandmychimney
